In order to improve energy efficiency in energy-intensive industries covered by the EU Emissions Trading Scheme (EU ETS), the National Fund for Environment and Water Management has launched a call for a priority programme”Energy-intensive industry — improving energy efficiency”. Industry representatives can apply for co-financing in the form of a loan of up to 100% of the costs to finance energy efficiency investments in their enterprises.
Deadline for recruitment:
- 25.11.2022 — 30.04.2023 or until the allocation of funds is exhausted.
Conditions for participation in the program:
- Submission of an application to the program is subject to prior energy audit.
- The investment covered by the co-financing must result from the recommendation of an energy audit (verified by the NFOŚiGW at the stage of evaluation of applications for co-financing, and the final energy saving is to be not less than 10%).
Investments eligible for the programme:
- Construction of a plant for the recovery of technological heat and its further use in the technological process.
- Improving energy efficiency, resulting in a reduction in the consumption of electricity taken from the KSE network, including the construction of IT systems for monitoring consumption, production and storage of energy with the function of optimizing management.
