CDP Europe Awards 2023
During a meeting held on 16 February 2023 in Paris, the international non-profit organisation CDP honoured European environmental leaders — companies and cities who received a place on the prestigious A List for their achievements under CDP in 2022. During the gala, the Climetrics Fund awards also recognized investors financing sustainable transformation.
A representative of VIVERNO actively participated in the debates held during the CDP Europe awards. Together with other participants of the meeting, he discussed the steps that, based on their own experience, they recommend to take to transform the world economy and society into a truly sustainable model, compatible with the limitations of our planet.

List A
2022 was a record year for environmental data disclosures. As many as 18,700 companies, cities and regions, reported to CDP. This figure includes 70% of European companies by market value. Entities that have demonstrated environmental leadership in disclosing actions related to climate change, deforestation or water security and received an A rating in any of these areas were placed on the “A List”, which is published annually.
Of the more than 15,000 companies rated by CDP for 2022 from A to D, a total of more than 330 (just 2.2%) were recognized as global leaders in environmental transparency and action on CDP's annual A lists.
The CDP Triple A Award, for transparency and action on climate change, forests and water security, was awarded to 12 companies from around the world, including 8 from Europe.
147 A-list organisations are based in Europe, more than in any other region. It is led by the United Kingdom (with 29 A-list companies), followed by France (24 companies), Spain (17) and Germany (15).
